The Students Joint Action Committee has appealed to the educational institutions to cooperate with it in organizing the proposed bandh on July 17 on the problems faced by the education sector.
Protesting against the government’s apathy over students’ problems, students’ organizations have released a wall poster brought out on the occasion.
They have demanded quality food to students, books for and uniforms for all.
Demanding that GO 1 and 91 be implemented, the students have also asked the government to provide basic amenities in all the schools. They also demanded that a comprehensive law be made to control fee in private educational institutions. Stating that they have proposed the bandh only to highlight problems of the students, they have urged parents and educational institutions to cooperate in organizing it.
