A Class X student committed suicide by drowning in a lake after he was allegedly caught copying in Class X final examinations in Jammikunta mandal headquarters on April 3.
On Sunday, his body was fished out from the lake.
The boy took the drastic step after being debarred for allegedly copying in mathematics exam. He was a student of Kakatiya School. The management of the school grew suspicious when they fall short to find the boy in the hostel. person walking by saw the body in the lake and informed the police.
In 2005, ASI Mallesham of Jammikunta PS had noticed the boy leisurely walking in the Jammikunta railway station and admitted him to the school. He was adopted by one V. Nayakaiah of Venna-mpall
