Delivering presidential address at a felicitation programme held in honour of Urdu fighter Captain Pandu Rangareddy, state general secretary Congress Mr. Abid Rasool Khan told that the suggestions given for the preservation of Urdu languages will be given the shape of an agenda. He told that a coordination committee will be formed, to ensure preservation of Urdu, which will make effective representation to popularise Urdu. Mr. Abid Rasool Khan told that all Urdu loving people should imitate the move taken by Caption Pandu Rangareddy for protection of Urdu and Osmania University.
Addressing the function Caption Pandu Ranga Rao pledged to struggle for the protection of Urdu and Osmania University, the first Urdu university of the world, till his last breath. He deplored prejudiced attitude towards Urdu language and removal of Urdu inscription from Osmania University logo.
