Struggle for elevating Islam: SIO camp

Hyderabad, June 14: It is the responsibility of every Muslim to introduce Islam in every field of life. To fill this objective, prophets were sent into this world. Youngsters should associate themselves with the Islamic movements and work for the elevation of Islam.

Mr. Basheeruddin Sharkhi, former President of SIO of India expressed these views addressing the participants of five-day training camp organized by Students’ Islamic Movement of India at Jamia Darul Huda. Giving the details of various movements working for the promotion and propagation of Islam he said the Muslim Ummah has now identified its true objective and has become active in establishing Islamic values.

Dr. Aatif Ismail, President, SIO, AP Zone in his presidential remarks called the present era as a period of mischief and materialism.

He further told that evils are being represented as virtues and they are shown as attractive. Moral values are not being considered necessary these days. However, we should not get disappointed and we should duty our assigned task with full determination.

Former City President, SIO Hafiz Mohammed Faizuddin said that those who struggle in the path of Allah, the Almighty, Allah puts them on the right track. He stressed the need to work for the elevation of Islam.

Brother Shafiullah Quadri declared that communalism and economic instability are the great challenges of the present world. In addition to the lectures of Islamic scholars, the participants of Islamic Camp were taught and practiced prayers. Career guidance programme was also arranged for the students. Islamic exhibition and cultural programme were also organized.
