The Confederation of Central Government Employees and Workers – Karnataka State, has announced a 48-hour nationwide strike on February 12 and 13.
The participant in the strike include the employees from the Accounts, Postal, Audit, Income Tax, Survey of India, , Geological Survey of India, Ground Water Board, Central Excise among 40 Central Government departments, said a press release from the organisation.
According to P S Prasad, General Secretary of the Confederation of Central Government Employees’ and Workers’ Karnataka State, the employees have sought that the Seventh Pay Commission recommendations be implemented from January 1, 2014.
