NEW DELHI: Sangh Parivar-aligned social media handles strikes again.
The right-wing sympathizers, who are infamous for making and circulating fake news in the form of photos and videos tweeted fake news video on Wednesday.
Twitter user @AmiteshK01 posted a video saying, “This another gory murder in Kerala by Commie/Jihadi goons of a lady supportive of BJP,” and tagged senior journalists Barkha Dutt, Rana Ayyub, Sagarika Ghose and Shekhar Gupta in his tweet.
The text flashing on the video, written in Hindi, translates to, “RSS Hindu woman shot dead by Muslims in Kerala”.

The fake news video which has been retweeted and shared hundreds of time was in fact a scene from a street play.
The video was actually a clipping from a street play titled ‘Silence is Dangerous’, organised by DYFI (Democratic Youth Federation of India) against the murder of senior journalist and activist Gauri Lankesh to highlight the role of RSS in the attack.

A Facebook page named राष्ट्रवादी Zee News [‘Rashtrawadi Zee News’] too posted the street play video clip with the description, “Dangerous. Leftist Muslims in Kerala have killed a Hindu woman in the middle of a road. Hindus left stunned. Has Kerala become Syria?”
“Muslims have shot dead an RSS supporter Hindu woman in Kerala”, says the text overlaid on the video posted by the page.
However, after the duplicity of the propaganda was exposed, the post disappeared from the Rashtrawadi Zee News page.
