Hyderabad: In yet another incident, a spotted deer fell prey to stray dogs at University of Hyderabad campus on Monday evening. The deer was attacked by stray dogs and was severely injured. The carcass of a male spotted dear was found near the GHMC office adjacent to the UoH campus.
5 spotted deer fell victim to stray dogs or killed by poachers in past few weeks. Last year, 50 spotted deer were found killed on the UoH campus. According to CCF Rangareddy, S Kukrety, the compound wall of UoH is broken, which gives a free entry to trespassers, poachers and stray dogs.
