Stranded Indian passengers arrive from Pakistan

New Delhi: 72 stranded Indian passengers on Monday arrived from Pakistan via Attari border following cancellation of Samjhauta Express owing to farmer’s rail blockade.

Indian immigration officials received 72 Indian passengers whose visa had expired at Attari border.

The passengers were to arrive in India on October 8th and 12th on board Samjhauta Express but could not make it due to cancellation of train consecutively for two times.

Similarly, India deported 15 Pakistani passengers after expiry of their visas.
