(Siasat News) Ulema Counsel will always make and attempt to strengthen secular forces and launch campaign to protect the interests of the Muslims in future. It will bridge the gap of the Muslim leadership in the districts in order to prevent the Govt. for taking wrong steps against the Muslims. It will create awareness of the Muslims for reservations. After the formation of Telangana state, it will struggle for getting justice in the fields of politics, education and economy. It will support the political party which is ready to accept the demands of the Muslims to remove their backwardness and to support reservations for them.
These thoughts were expressed by Moulana Mohammed Yousuf Zahid Muzahiri at a meeting held in Warangal yesterday. He applauded the formation of Ulema Council in Telangana region. Moulana Waliulla Quadri said that the formation of Ulema Council is the need of the hour. Mr. Habeeb Khan told that Muslim Ulema have a greater responsibility to guide the Muslim community. Quoting references from the history of India, he said that right from Moulana Abul Kalam Azad, Muslim Ulema have fulfilled their duties to develop Muslim community and he hope that the Muslim Ulema of the present day will also extend their services for the development of Muslims.
Mr. Abdul Majeed, President of Blue Birds Educational Society applauded the services of Moulana Yousuf Zahid Muzahiri, Chairman of Muslim Ulema Council. He agreed to the aims and objectives of the council and offered a services for it. Mr. Zubair stressed the need to form Ulema Council in various districts of Telangana as early as possible. Moulana Mohammed Ateequr Rahman Asadi was elected unanimously as the Convener of District Council of Warangal. An adhoc executive body was also constituted.
