New Delhi, November 12: Issues like price rise, Maoist violence and problems faced by farmers including sugarcane growers are likely to be raised in the upcoming session of Parliament which promises to be stormy.
A week before the start of the session, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar today convened a meeting here of leaders of all political parties to discuss ways and means to ensure smooth conduct of the session.
“We look forward to a stormy session,” she said adding in a lighter vein “otherwise it will get very boring”.
Ahead of the Winter Session of Parliament beginning November 19, she hoped that issues would be sorted out in the month-long session even if there were “heated discussions”.
