Stop stereotyping Saudi workers: minister

Riyadh, August 16: Saudi Labour Minister, Adel Fakeih, highlighted success stories of young local men and women in order to improve their job prospects.

“Saudis have proved their capabilities in various productive areas, accepting challenges,” the minister said while addressing a press conference in Jeddah on Saturday,  night, reported ‘ Arab News’.

He blamed “inherited negative convictions” for the failure of Saudisation in the private sector in the past years. “Although the number of Saudis among the private sector work force is meager, their success stories provide good tidings about a bright future as it would make the labour market more Saudi friendly and help it achieve sustainable development,” he said.
