Demanding that the State government conduct Medical entrance examination for private medical seats and government control over MBBS admissions, Congress MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy alleged that private colleges were selling medical seats at exorbitant rates in Telangana State.
Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Ponguleti alleged that the TRS government has become a mute spectator in this episode. He charged Health and Medical Minister C. Laxma Reddy with ignorance that there was a special entrance examination to Medical B-Category seats. He said something was going on behind the screen in selling the Medical seats and suspected that the TRS bigwigs were involved in the scam. (NSS)
