Stop raising doubts on surgical strikes: Meghwal

Sikar (Raj): Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal today said those raising doubts on surgical strikes should stop doing this and instead trust what the Army has said.

“The Director General of Military Operations (DGMO) gave statement about the surgical strikes before the country. The countrymen have trust in the Army. We should trust what the DGMO has said,” the Union Minister of State for Finance said.

Those making unwarranted statements about the surgical strikes across the LoC are following Pakistani media which is telling “lies”, he told reporters on the sidelines of a programme here.

Addressing a Vedic Sammelan in Piprali, Meghwal said a portrait of Swami Dayanand Saraswati would be installed in the Parliament building and a coin would also be released.

The teachings of Swami Dayanand are relevant today and should be followed, he said.

The Modi government has achieved several milestones and is working as per the expectations of the people, the Minister added.
