Stop private schools from robbing parents: Parents’ associations

Hyderabad: A delegation of Hyderabad School Parents’ Association and Joint Action Committee struggling to regularise the school fee, called on Governor ESL Narsimhan at Raj Bhawan and appealed to intervene into the matter of exorbitant fee being charged by the schools. The delegation urged the government to uphold the legislative and stop private school managements from burning holes in the parents’ pockets.

Governor told the delegation that he is aware of the issue. He gives priority to hygiene and education. He assured that, though he could not promise, but would take the matter to the government.

Parents associations have already staged Maha Dharna protesting against exorbitant fee hike by private schools and now they are approaching all top government officials and leaders. After the meeting with Governor the delegation will meet Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister and education Minister K Sri Hari.
