Hyderabad, April 30 (Siasat News): The Congress member of Parliament and member of parliament working committee Mr. Arun Kumar has strongly objected the TRS President Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao of praising the former ruler of Hyderabad, The Nizam and asked him to clarify weather he supported the Indian government or the sate government. He also wanted him to explain either he wants strife and war with the people of Andhra.
In an interview with a TV Channel in New Delhi he said the Nizam wanted Hyderabad state to merge with Pakistan and had given to Pakistan a huge amount he had collected from the people as tax.
Mr. Arun Kumar wanted Mr. Chandrashekar Rao Whether he supported the Indian Union, the state government or the people of Andhra region or he wanted war with the people of Andhra area. India is a democratic country and has bestowed certain rights to its people but it does not mean he could say anything he liked out of political interests.
The problem of Telangana is a political issue. The TRS president is creating divisive sentiments among the people of the sate. But the issue shall be resolved by the people after arriving at a consensual creation of a separate state of Telangana is a political problem and it should be resolved as such.
Mr. Arun Kumar referred to history of Talangana and said many leaders like Mr. Sharad Pawar first supported the demand for Telangana state but now he is opposed to it.
He said India was democratic country but it did not mean anyone could say whatever he liked it or not. He pointed out that the TDP had earlier supported the demand for a separate Telangana. Similarly other parties had supported the demand. But the announcement made by the Union Home Minister on 9th December has changed the entire situation.
The Congress has formed Srikrishna Committee to solve the problem and it is expected to submit its report by the month of December.
