Stop criticism, TDP tells KCR

Hyderabad, February 28: The Telugu Desam Party has advised Telangana Rashtra Samiti president K. Chandrasekhar Rao not to resort to criticism of the TDP legislators as it would help in diverting the attention of the people from the ongoing movement which reached its peak.

At a press conference here on Sunday, TDP MLA S. Venkata Veeraiah took objection to TRS’ claims asking TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu to turn an approver so that people could pardon him.

Clarification sought

He demanded that the TRS president clarify why his party was targeting the TDP rather than the ruling Congress which continued to hoodwink the people.

Mr. Rao was criticising the TDP legislators, but people of the region were aware of the frequent changes in his stand that delayed the formation of separate State. This was evident from the fact that Mr. Rao who made tall claims on stalling the proceedings of the Parliament returned empty handed.

“People are aware that his family is involved in making money from films, colleges and real estate business,” Mr. Veeraiah alleged wondering how the TRS president’s son K.T. Rama Rao had business relations with leaders of Seemandhra region.
