Four persons were arrested here for allegedly stealing silver and gold jewellery after police recovered the ornaments worth Rs 20 lakh from three of them.
Acting on a tip-off, police last night nabbed three persons — Hansraj Banjara (21), Rakesh Namdeo (30) and Suresh
Banjara (23) — and recovered from their possession 39.11 kg silver and 90 gram gold jewellery stolen by them, Moondi
police station in-charge Ajit Patel told reporters here.
Based on the inputs provided by the three, police today aught one Khaju Khan for his involvement in the theft.
Khan will be produced in a court soon for remand, Patel said, adding that other persons of the gang involved in the
theft would also be arrested soon.
