After sting, Dy. CM of Gujarat bans mobile phone in his office

Ahmedabad: Nitin Patel, Dy. CM of Gujarat has reportedly banned mobile phones in his office after a farmer secretly recorded him criticizing Hardik Patel, Patidar leader and Jignesh Mevani, the face of Dalit movement in Gujarat.

According to the news published in Jantaka Reporter, he was allegedly ‘stung’ when he was talking to the farmers.

In the video, Mr. Patel can be heard blaming Hardik Patel and Jignesh Mevani for misleading communities for political mileage.

It is also reported that he addressed Mevabi as Harijan and warn them of befitting reply after assembly polls in the State.

A journalist who visited him on Monday said that they were asked to handover mobile phone to security personnel outside his office.

It may be mentioned that for the first time, BJP is nervous ahead of assembly polls. On Sunday, BJP President, Amit Shah had talked about the alleged misinformation being spread on social media.
