With its 15th plenary at Khammam on April 27, the TRS is getting into 16th year of its formation and will focus on good governance and strengthen the party at all levels besides involving people and party workers in the development process according to Finance Minister Etela Rajender.
Addressing a press conference along with party MP Balka Suman, Rajender maintained that the TRS will become number one party in the country for keeping 90 per cent of manifesto promises made and also implementing many schemes that were not announced. The plenary will be a platform to adopt a new plan of action and roll out its leadership with rejuvenation and enthusiasm to offer the best services to cater to the changing needs of the people, he said. Our aim is to involve people and party workers in the process of state development in all sectors the minister said.
Etela said that the plenary is limited to just 4000 leaders and activists who received invitation cards and others are not allowed. He appealed to the people to not venture to the plenary as scorching heat of Sunny days may cause harm. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao, who fetched the statehood, has left his mark of indelible print in governance and got accolades from many states he claimed. Party worker will be trained to take up welfare programs to the people he said adding that of 50 lakh members the party has offered 42 lakh members with insurance facility. (NSS)
