Steps to keep staff away from graft at NMDC

Hyderabad, October 28: National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) chief vigilance officer N V Raja Sekhar stressed the need to wean away employees from indulging in corruption by sensitising them about its ill-effects.

He was speaking at a function held h ere on the occasion of the ongoing ‘vigilance awareness period’ that began on October 25.

The chief vigilance officer listed out the improvements brought about in the systems and procedures in the organisation.

NMDC director (commercial) V K Sharma administered pledge of being honest to the employees of the corporation.

Padmasri S Subramanian (retired IPS) and founder-patron of Vigilance Study Circle spoke on ‘generation of awareness in publicity against corruption’.

During the awareness period, numerous competitions will be held for the employees.
