Nominated MLA Elvis Stephenson recorded his statement in the ‘Cash for Vote’ case before the IIIrd Metropolitan Magistrate at Nampally here on Wednesday.
Elvis, his daughter Jessica and friend Taylor were brought to the court from their residence in Bhoiguda amid tight security. They recorded their statements before the magistrate. According to sources, when TDP MLA A Revanth Reddy went to Stephenson’s house on May 31, his daughter and friend were also present in the house. Therefore, the ACB has made them witnesses in the case.
The State Government has increased Stephenson’s security after the ‘Cash for Vote’ case broke out on May 31. About 15-20 security personnel have been deployed for his security and he was brought in a bullet proof vehicle to the court. (INN)
