Comedian Stephen Fry has denied reports that he has plans to start a family with new husband Elliott Spencer.

In a latest interview, Fry, 57, had apparently hinted the newlyweds would soon hear the “patter of tiny feet”, reported Hello magazine.

But asked outright by a Twitter follower whether he had “baby plans”, Fry, replied, “No – don’t believe what you read it the papers!”

Fry and Spencer tied the knot in Dereham on January 17, 11 days after they announced their intention to marry.

Fry celebrated his marriage on social media, writing: “Gosh. @ElliottGSpencer and I go into a room as two people, sign a book and leave as one. Amazing.”

The comedian was previously involved with ex-partner Daniel Cohen for 15 years.
