Ghaziabad, April 26: India’s first woman IPS officer Kiran Bedi today asked students to stay away from politics.
“Students should stay away from politics and should concentrate on their studies. It’s only then that they can contribute to the development of the nation,” Bedi said.
Commenting on corruption, the former IPS officer said that because of the dominating influence of politics, government officials are often unable to take independent decisions, which in turn is giving rise to corruption in the country.
