Statute norms not violated to divide AP: Vinod

TRS MP B Vinod Kumar has condemned the comments that Constitutional norms were violated with regard to formation of Telangana State.

Participating in a debate on the Constitution in Parliament on the second day of the session, Vinod Kumar said there was no iota of truth in the allegations of Constitutional violation in carving out Telangana State out of Andhra Pradesh. “The process of passing A P Reorganisation Act was totally as per norms and law of the land:, he asserted.

The TRS memer said in the united Andhra Pradesh State, the Telangana region was suppressed, thoroughly exploited, undeveloped and deprived of all facilities, he bemoaned.
