Gujarat: Persons who visited Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s statue also known as the Statue of Unity had a bad experience as rainwater has reportedly started dripped through ceiling.
According to the report published in News18, rainwater allegedly leaked through the roof of the gallery of the Statue of Unity which is located in the State of Gujarat.
After the incident, visitors shared video on social media.

However, the officials claimed that the rainwater entered the viewing gallery due to high-velocity winds.
On the official Twitter account, it was written, “The rainwater has been blown by high-velocity winds inside the viewing gallery It’s by design that it has to be kept open for a better view which tourists can enjoy Water accumulation is being promptly tackled by the maintenance team”.
