Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao today said that other states are emulating Telangana State prestigious flagship schemes like Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya and She Teams and others. Participating in a few developmental programs at Edulabad, Medchal and other places he said that the government is extending a helping hand to the poor, women and farmers and children in a big way. He accused the opposition parties of crying foul on the schemes which are being appreciated by the Centre and NITI Ayog.
Harish cited that states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Niti Ayog teams have made a visit to the state to replicate the similar programs. We are giving sops to the pregnant women to deliver at government hospitals and get Rs 12000, besides KCR Kit from June 2 he said. Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has decided to provide necessary monetary help to the farmers in distress by offering Rs 4000 per acre for two crops towards fertilizers and other needs from next financial year he said. The previous governments failed to give funds for the cause of the poor, women and farmers he alleged. It is for the people to compare and decide whether the KCR Government is implementing multiple number of schemes for their welfare he said. (NSS)
