State’s debts, KCR’s assets increasing: Revanth

TTDP working president A Revanth Reddy has alleged that the debts of the State and assets of Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s family members were increasing due to the TRS government’s policies.

In a pressnote here today, Revanth Reddy lambasted the Chief Minister saying that while Rs 60,000 crore debts were taken by the State government in the last 60 years, but KCR borrowed Rs 1.20 lakh crore during his two-and-a-half years rule only. Expressing concern over the increasing debts of the State, Revanth Reddy alleged that the State government created corporations specially to borrow debts and the credit of huge borrowings goes to KCR only.

He alleged that the state government introduced Rs.3.50 lakh crore budgets in the last three years accumulating the total Rs.4.70 lakh crore but the state government not even provided double bed room houses to the poor people and failed to provide fees reimbursement arrears and failed to waive off the farmers loans at one go and failed to give three acre land to daliths.

Demanding the Chief Minister to release a white paper on the expenditure for the last three years, Revanth Reddy asked KCR to tell as to where he spent the huge amounts. It was not proper to the Chief Minister to rub the debts on the people by bringing huge borrowings for Mission Bhagiratha. He wondered saying that the debts of the state were increasing but KCR family’s assets were increasing. Several Telangana protagonists were lost in several aspects but KCR family set up Telugu, Urdu, English newspapers and TV Channels along with hundreds of acres of farm house, he pointed out. There was a need to the KCR to tell as to how he achieved all these assets, he asked and alleged that KCR was trying to create differences between the castes to loot the votes in the coming elections. He said that the ‘Prajaporu’ meeting will be held at Nirmal on February 20 similar to the meetings held at Kollapur, Gajwel successfully. (NSS)
