State will be in darkness if Congress voted to power, cautions Harish

Hyderabad: People of Telangana should be extra cautious as they must vote for the ruling party for continuing growth and development as there is every danger if the opposition congress led Mahakutami gets power the state will mired in a pal of gloom and non development, caretaker minister T Harish Rao today said.

He was addressing a public meeting at Malyala village in Chandurti mandal of Rajanna Siricilla district. He alleged that former Chief Minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy was a Telangana traitor as he did not build projects here.

Harish Rao took a jibe at the Congress and the TD regimes that have devastated the State and failed to develop the region in terms of agriculture, irrigation and welfare.

Congress denied facilities and Chandrababu regime resorted to kill the farmers for seeking power supply to the agriculture he alleged. However the TRS on coming to power tide over power crisis and giving 24 hours supply to farm sector a record at national level he claimed. He said that the ruling party is ready for open on the development done during the TRS regime in four and half years and that of the past regimes. We have irrigated 25 lakh acres during our period and the congress regime in 10 years had offered irrigation waters to just 5 lakh acres turning the lands into desert, he said.

Delhi and Amaravathi will dictate terms if the people give power to the congress and TD alliance and giving power to the ruling party will sure prove handy and the state will move on growth trajectory continuously, he said. Enumerating several schemes launched by KCR regime, including Kalyana Lakshmi, Shaadi Mubarak, Rythu Bandhu, Rythu Bhima, KCR Kits, Pensions and others, Harish Rao said the people are happy with these schemes and will get more such schemes if they give complete support to the ruling party in the ensuing elections.
