The State Government on Wednesday released Rs 216.60 crore towards input subsidy to the drought hit farmers in the State.
The funds have been released from State Disaster Response Fund (SDRF) to the Commissioner and Director of Agriculture towards input subsidy for other farmers of those districts whose agriculture crops were damaged due to drought in Kharif season last year. The input subsidy will be given to farmers whose damages were more than 50 per cent of the normal yields. (INN)
