The State Government is planning to set up new ESI Hospitals across the State.
Replying to a question raised by MLA P Mahender Reddy in the State Legislative Assembly, Labour and Employment Minister D Nagender admitted that there were proposals to establish new ESI Hospitals. Regarding an ESI Hospital at Tandur, he said that the feasibility of establishment was under study based on a re-survey taken up by the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation as per their norms.
The minister said that a Panel Clinic at Tandur was presently functioning to provide medicare to the employees covered under the ESI scheme. (INN)
