State Muslim Council has prepared a strategy to prevent division of minority votes and bring secular forces to power in the ensuing elections. President Muslim Council Hamed Muhammed Khan told that a meeting of the council will be held on April 16, in which scholars, clerics, intellectuals and persons belonging to various fields will participate.
The meeting will discuss election strategy and decide on supporting any party. He told that Muslim Council aims at preventing division of minority and secular votes so that communal forces would not come to power. He said that it would be decided to support candidates having secular ideologies. Since various political parties are in fray it is likely that the decision would be taken to support on the basis of candidates.
