State Milk Mission soon

Hyderabad, December 09: Chief Minister of A.P. Mr. N. Kiran Kumar Reddy told yesterday that the state is ready for Milk Mission which will bring white revolution in the state. CM Presided over a meeting of high level officials in secretariat. He said that there is no shortage of funds for this purpose.

The officials apprised him of the requirements of the equipment and funds needed for this purpose. They told him that 22 thousand villages will be covered in four phases. The main objective of this mission is to enhance milk production in the state from 298 lakh liters to 498 lakh liters daily. The meeting was attended by Minister for Animal Husbandry Mr. Vishwaroop. Minister for women’s welfare Ms. Suneetha Lakshma Reddy, Chief Secretary, Mr. Pankaj Dwivedi, Spl. Chief Secretary, Mr. Bhale Rao, Principal Secretary Mr. Subrahmayam, Director, Animal Husbandry, Mr. M. V. Reddy, M.D. of Dairy Development corporation Mr. Praveen Prakash, Spl. Secretary Mr. S.S. Ravath, Addl. Secretary to CM Mr. Sreedhar and others.
