The last date for receipt of applications to participate in State-level Photography Competitions on the occasion of World Photography Day has been extended till at 5 pm on 12th August.
Information Public Relations Commissioner B.P. Acharya on Friday informed that the World Photography Day will be observed on 19th August. Explaining about the details of the State Level Photography Competitions, the Commissioner informed that the competitions will be held in three categories.
The first category, Bangaru Telangana, will be on Mission Kakatiya, Haritha Haram, Tourism, Culture and Heritage. The second category, Telangana Festivals, will be on Bonalu, Bathukamma, Godavari Pushkaralu and third category, Photo Journalism, will be on Best News Picture in Telangana. He said that earlier 9th August was the last date for receipt of applications now it has been extended up to 12th August. He requested the Photographers to utilize the opportunity. (INN)
