Hyderabad, October 16: A State-level Bankers’ meeting would be
organized here on Monday to discuss various issues, including speedy
distribution of loans, enhancement of loan amount and transfer of
powers of micro finance organizations to the banks.
The meeting has significance in the backdrop of the State government
promulgating an ordinance to control the activities of the micro
finance companies resulting in several small and medium farmers and
self help groups’ women committing suicide.
