TRS senior leader Etela Rajender today said the State leaders have no capacity to prevent Telangana bill.
Talking to mediapersons here on Monday, Etela said as the Centre sought only views, the Assembly cannot conduct a voting on clauses related to Telangana Draft Bill. Advising the Seemandhra leaders and APNGOs not to burn copies of the Telangana bill, the TRS leader ridiculed Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and other Seemandhra leaders trying to delay the debate for political gains. President Pranab Mukherjee will not extend time for debating the bill as he has already given ample time of six weeks.
The TRS leader said though much of the time was wasted deliberately by the Seemandhra leaders, now the Chief Minister is said to be trying to seek more time. Instead they must extend cooperation for disposal of the Telangana bill in Parliament as the Centre was going to pass the bill in a special session of Parliament in February first week, he added.
