The Civil Society organizations on Thursday held the State government responsible for killing of Dalits in Laxmipeta village of Srikakulam district.
Leaders of civil society organizations have demanded that the State government arrest those responsible of the incident and provide Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased.
A round table meeting was organized by Kula Vivaksha Porata Sangham and Agricultural Labour Association. They alleged that a section people were trying to paint the incident as feud between two groups. (NSS)
