(Siasat News) As a gift for Deepawali, Govt. of A.P. announced Dearness Allowance to its employees and pensioners to the extend of 8.56% of their basic pay. This will benefit 14 lakh state Govt. employees from 1st July of this year. It will incur an expenditure of Rs. 2396 crore additionally to the Govt. exchequer.
Mr. Narender Rao, President of Secretariat Telangana Employee Joint Action Committee and Mr. Vittal, President of Telangana Gazetted Officers’ Welfare Association and Mr. Devi Prasad, President, Telangana N.G.O’s Union welcomed this step of the state Govt.
