Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi founder-president Manda Krishna Madiga today accused the State government of miserably failing to pay attention towards settling the SC, ST atrocities cases.
Speaking to mediapersons after meeting Home Minister Nayani Narsimha Reddy at the Ministers Quarters today, Krishna Madiga slammed the TRS government for remaining calm even as crimes against SCs and STs Like attacks and murders were increasing. The MRPS leader complained to the Home Minister that the officials concerned were not taking interest to curb atrocities against the SCs and STs.
Stating that 433 SC/ST members were subjected to atrocities, Krishna Madiga said District Collectors and Superintendents of Police were not taking action they are supposed to review SC/ST atrocity cases every three months. (NSS)
