Apart from the political ups and downs facing the ruling Congress party in the State due to the Telangana agitation on one hand and the YSR Congress party on the other, as was evident from the outcome of the recent by-elections in seven Assembly segments, the government has to face many other problems during this new year (Nandana nama Samvathsaram), if the predictions of Pandit Mulugu Ramalingeswara Vara Prasadu Siddhanthi, world top order astrologer, were to become true.
The Siddhanthi had predicted many events correctly in the past; such as Jayalalitha bouncing back as chief minister of Tamil Nadu, Left parties facing humiliation in West Bengal and Kerala, Mamatha Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress toppling the Left front government in West Bengal and so on.
So far as Andhra Pradesh is concerned, in his Nandana year Panchangam (almanac), the pandit predicted many bad tidings in many spheres. He predicts that the roads in the State would become blood thirsty and there would be increased accidents, and delay in the implementation of scientific methods in roads maintenance; Congress and TDP incurring the wrath of people in Telangana; and Telangana agitation taking a new turn. He says there was no change in his last year’s prediction that separate Telangana State would be formed. New political alignments would take place in the name of Telangana. He predicts that the price spiral in the State would become unbearable to the middle class people, while the lot of common people would become miserable.
He says that the suicide by farmers would continue in the new year, though the State has earned the name of ‘Annapoorna’. It would be no exaggeration to say that there was no farmer, who did not shed tears. The farmers would cry for fertilisers. Not only nature, but also the government would become responsible for the woes of the farmers. The ‘Pavala Vaddi’ scheme would be watered down.
TAXES TO GO UP
The Astrologer further predicts that Hyderabad would become the ‘adda’ for inrternational drug smuggling gangs, murder gangs, foreign criminals, Nigerian cheats and robber gangs of other States, posing a great problem for the police; and there would be spurt in cyber crimes. With the hike in gold prices, there would be increase in chain snatching cases.
Many cheating instances and irregularities of corporate Hospitals would come to light. There would be spurt in ‘money circulation’ rackets. In Greater Hyderabad, the activities of political hawks would be unearthed. He says that there was no change in the last year’s prediction that the Telugu
Desam Party would face difficult times. It would be difficult to stop exodus into the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS). (NSS)
