Mr. Mohammed Ali Shabbeer , former Minister and MLC criticized the Govt. of A.P. for making elaborate arrangements for the A.P. Formation Day to be celebrated on 1st November. He said that there is no need for such functions as A.P. State has been divided and there is no justification for it. Instead of spending crores of rupees on this function, this amount could be diverted to help the flood victims. He requested the Ministers of Telangana region to boycott the function. He advised them to organize meetings to thank President of Congress, Ms. Sonia Gandhi who took the courageous decision of formation of separate Telangana. He also criticized the C.M. of A.P. Mr. Kiran Kumar Reddy that he is making futile efforts to stop the bifurcation of the State. No power can now stop the formation separate Telangana.
