TRS MP B Vinod Kumar today sought the State government intervention to stall the list pertaining to division of law officials among two States and injustice meted out to Telangana law officials.
Along with Bar Association representatives, the MP called on the Law Minister A Indrakaran Reddy at Secretariat here on Saturday and asked him to take up the issue with the Centre to stall the list and set up a committee for speedy justice. Essentially, it was mentioned in the AP Reorganisation Act that the officials and employees are ought to work at their home State rather than in other State, he said.
“The law officials of our State are crying foul on the injustice meted out to them as the division was done in an unscrupulous way. It is right to demand for the justice and the State government has to take up the issue with the Centre”, he reiterated. Since the division of the law officials failed to comply with the AP Reorganisation Act, another committee should be constituted as per Section 80 of bifurcation Act for the fair division of the officials, he demanded. He also charged that the division of the officials was made without any committee and there is no wrong to wage a fight for the just demand, Vinod added. (NSS)
