Stalemate on the electoral tie-up between TDP and BJP continued till late evening even after Central leaders deputed by BJP high command to finalize a deal with Chandrababu Naidu not yielding desired results.
As the talks between the leaders of TDP and BJP continuing, Telangana BJP district party presidents today offered to resign in protest against alliance with the TDP. They even submitted a letter to Central leader and party’s national spokesperson Prakash Javadekar protesting the alliance with TDP.
Some of the party district presidents called on Javadekar and lodged their protest against the tie-up stating that they worked hard to strengthen the party. If any tie-up was reached in the present circumstances, they will have to face disappointment.
Earlier in the day, Telangana BJP president G Kishan Reddy hoped that a final decision would be taken by this evening on tie-up. (NSS)
