Stage Set For Eamcet On May 10

All the arrangements have been made for conducting the AEMCET 2013 on May 10 in the State.
This was announced here today by Convenor Ramana Rao. Engineering stream examination will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on the day, while medical stream examination will be from 2.30 to 5.30 pm on the same day. A total of 3,95,868 candidates are appearing for the EAMCET this year. As many as 1,05,024 applications were received for the medicine and agriculture streams, while 2,90, 844 were received for Engineering stream. Candidates could still apply for EAMCET till May 7 with a late fee of Rs.10,000.

For Engineering, 534 examination centres were set up in the State, and for medicine 201 centres. This year, new centres were set up at Chittoor, Janagaon, Wanaparthy and Bheemavaram for the convenience of the candidates.

RESULTS ON JUNE 2
EAMCET preliminary key will be released on May 12, while the results would be announced on June 2. . The convenor made it very clear that the candidates will not be allowed inside the examination hall even if they arrive there one minute behind schedule. This would be strictly followed, he added.
