SSC student among three commits suicide

An 18-year-old boy committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling allegedly due to his failure to clear SSC exams.

According to Reinbazar police, the deceased, Syed Noorul Wajid, took the extreme step at his residence in Rein Bazar on Thursday night. He was reportedly appearing for SSC exams since 2012, but was unable to clear them. The same is suspected to have driven him to suicide.

In another case, Ch Narasimha, 50, committed suicide by hanging to a tree in his fields near his residence in Hayathnagar police limits. Narasimha, according to police, was recently released on bail in a criminal case registered against him. This incident had led to the breakup of his son Srihari’s marriage. Upset with the development, Narasimha resorted to the extreme step.

In a separate case, 35-year-old G Yadi Reddy committed suicide by hanging to the ceiling at his residence in Rudraram village on Thursday night. According to Shahbad police, financial problems are suspected to be behind the suicide. (INN)
