The posts that are likely to be filled up through the open competitive examination are Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in Central Water Commission, Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) in Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in Military Engineer Services (MES), Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in Farakka Barrage Project, Junior Engineer (Civil) and Junior Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical) in Border Road Organization (BRO), Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in Central Water and Power Research Station, Junior Engineer (Mechanical) and Junior Engineer (Electrical) in Directorate of Quality Assurance (Naval), Junior Engineer (Civil), Junior Engineer (Electrical) and Junior Engineer (Mechanical) in National Technical Research Organization (NTRO).
Age limit
The age limit of the candidates who are interested in the Central Water Commission and CPWD is 32 years whereas, for other departments, it is 30 years.
The examination will be held in various centers across the country. The Examination will consist of two Papers i.e. Paper-I (Computer Based Examination) and Paper-II (Descriptive Type).
