Hyderabad, March 25: The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination started on a smooth note on Thursday across the State and only 56 cases of malpractice were booked across the State.
Of the 56 cases, 12 cases were reported from Mahabubnagar district.
Reports said that in Shantinagar School in Khammam district some students were given Sanskrit paper instead of the first language paper.
However, the mistake was noticed and the official concerned was removed from invigilation duties immediately. A note from the Director of Government Examinations said that one case of impersonation was booked in Nellore district.
Impersonation
It said 43 invigilators, one Chief Superintendent and four departmental officers were relieved from duties for negligence. About 2,452 centres were covered by the flying squads and district level observers.
Officials said there were no rumours of paper leakage and no mass copying was reported from anywhere in the State.
