The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Public Examinations started peacefully all over the State on Thursday.
According to a pressnote, the Directorate of School Education, the examinations started with first language paper-I at 9.30 am sharp and concluded at 12.15 pm. As many as 5,38,867 students, including 2,76,388 boys and 2,62,479 girls, have registered for the SSC Public Exams.
The Directorate of School Education set up 2,542 examination centers across the State for smooth conduct of the examinations. Some 148 flying squads and four special flying squads have been constituted to monitor the exams. (NSS)
