Hyderabad: CCTV cameras will keep eye on students during the ensuing SSC examinations. Education department has decided to install CCTV cameras in all the SSC examination centres to put a curb on cheating and impersonation.
After experimenting the project last year, the state government has decided to implement it fully this year. Department of Education and Board of Secondary have decided to ensure CCTV camera monitoring in all exam centres of the city and districts. High level measures will be taken to maintain transparency in the SSC exam.
Last year CCTV cameras were installed in over 200 centres which helped in reducing the number of cases of cheating and impersonation.
