SRK praises Manoj Bajpayee’s Traffic

Mumbai: Actor Manoj Bajpayee, who plays a traffic constable in his upcoming thriller “Traffic” is praised by the super stars, after Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan has come forward to root for the success of his upcoming film “Traffic”.

The 50-year-old actor met Bajpayee in the midst of promotions of Traffic. The two were in the same studio. He said in a statement that.

“We have been working together since childhood in theatre and I have got to learn a lot from Manoj. We have done lot of ‘masti’. I feel the proudest and I’m not being patronising… he is one of the finest actors and I wish him all the best.

Shah Rukh added. “He’s more of a friend and we’ve always been like that.”

Manoj plays a traffic constable in the film that is based on a true story. Its a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. Directed by late Rajesh Pillai and produced by Deepak Dhar.

The story revolves around transportation of a harvested heart for a heart transplant case, chasing a strict deadline. During the mission, the characters face numerous difficulties and obstacles, in the extreme traffic of Mumbai.

Salman had also tweeted about the film, saying he was ‘looking forward to this film’.

“Traffic” also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Sachin Khedekar, Divya Dutta among others and is scheduled to release on May 6.
