Mumbai: Sriram Balaji, who is the part of Mumbai tennis masters in the Champions Tennis League 2015, secured single and double titles at the Fenesta National Tennis Championships.
Balaji emerged as the national champion by beating fellow CTL player and regular doubles partner Vishnu Vardhan (7-5, 6-3) in a close straight set encounter at the finals.
It was double delight for Balaji in the fenesta national tennis championships as he also lifted the doubles title partnering VM Ranjeet.
Balaji ranks 427 in the ATP rankings and has been retained by the Mumbai tennis masters team for the second successive season of Champions tennis league.
The rising tennis star expressed his delight on winning both the singles and doubles titles.
“It was wonderful to play the final with my friend Vishnu. To emerge as the national champion is a huge honour and I hope to carry this great form to all my upcoming tournaments,” added Balaji.
The finalists, Sriram and Vardhan, who fought it out to be crowned as the national champion, will be seen playing with the elite international players in the champions tennis league 2015.

The Champions Tennis League 2015 will commence from November 23 and will see 13 matches played for over two weeks.
CTL will feature six city based teams across India. The teams will be structured into two zones, each having three teams, where they will play against each other in a home and away format.
